Hector Morales & Rex Kizzort, Director of Campus Planning, Design & Construction at Georgia Gwinnett College, presented a case study on the integration of LEED principles in health science and laboratory facility investment projects at the Tuff 2014 Educational Facilities Best Practices Summit. The session featured the new $30 million, 90,000 SF Allied Health & Sciences building to highlight the complexities involved with implementing sustainable practices into complex facility projects and the solutions utilized to overcome these challenges and reduce long-term operational costs.
